At present, horizontal CNC lathes are mainly divided into four types according to the layout form of guide rail structure:
(1)Traditional flat bed CNC lathe (traditional flat bed + flat bed saddle);
(2)Integral oblique bed body CNC lathe (oblique bed body + flat bed saddle);
(3)High and low rail bed CNC lathe (high and low rail bed + corresponding saddle);
(4)Inclined saddle type CNC lathe (integral flat bed body + inclinedsaddle).
First of all, the traditional flat bed body CNC lathe: with simple structure, durable leather, easy to use and maintain and other advantages, cost-effective, the structural characteristics of such machine tools are the spindle, X/Z axis guide rail are horizontal layout, traditional structural layout, large production batch, cost-effective; the disadvantage is that: fast moving speed and feed speed are slightly lower, generally fast moving speed is not more than 10m/min, production efficiency is slightly lower, chip removal is not as good as chip bed layout. These models can meet the rough finishing use of general parts.
This series of hard rails is made of high-quality gray cast iron HT300, bed body and saddle and other guide rails are quenched treatment, hardness up to V70, equivalent to HRC58, wire rail bed body class is made of high-quality HT250. Whether the hard rail design or the line rail design can ensure the rigidity, vibration resistance and wear resistance of the whole machine, and the accuracy and stability of the machine tool for a long time.
Second, the overall inclined bed CNC lathe: the integral inclined bed body + flat bed saddle layout, compared with the overall flat bed body, the bed body bearing capacity is large, the X/Z axis moving parts structure weight is small, conducive to high-speed movement and high-speed cutting, the fast moving speed is generally up to 20~36m/min, tilt 30° bed body, covers a small area, excellent chip discharge, rich configuration, the whole machine is easier to automate layout; this kind of machine tool is the first generation of high-end CNC beds using more, higher cost, and the market price is relatively more expensive.
Third, high and low rail bed CNC lathe: high and low rail bed + corresponding step saddle: this structure is similar to the overall inclined bed body, belongs to the inclined bed body type CNC lathe, compared with the integral inclined bed saddle, the guide rail horizontal installation, conducive to the guide rail force structure, compared with the specification machine tool, rigidity is better than the overall inclined bed layout, but, two guide rails are not on the same plane, greatly increasing the processing, assembly and manufacturing difficulty of the bed body and saddle, the cost is relatively high, suitable for installing high-quality accessories as high-end models to sell.
Finally, the inclined bed saddle CNC lathe: the overall flat bed body + inclined bed saddle structure layout, this is our company’s research and development of product structure, not only with the structure of the two machine tools above, but also rigidity has been further strengthened, the saddle as a comprehensive force part, belongs to the key part of the bearing up and down, equivalent to the waist of people, our saddle adopts triangular layout, rigid feet, high stability.
Our idea is that customers want 60 points of machine tools then we recommend 75 points to 78 points of machine tools and options, and so on. But if you want a 100-point machine tool, we can only take out a 99-point machine tool, after all, a 100-point machine tool is a lie.
